While talking to Media Sher Muhammad Narejo & others said that land tilling with bulls is far better than tractors as it penetrates deeper into the land than the machinery due to which the farmers get better yields than tractor tilling. They said that due to increase in diesel prices it has become almost impossible for the poor peasants to get their lands prepared with tractors for sowing crops and added that it is easy for them to bring up bulls as fodder for them is available in abundance in the agricultural fields they are irrigating.

They further said that they advise their farming community to adopt old traditional system of ox-tilling and this will also enhance their per acre produce in every crop. They were just frightened of regular thefts in the rural villages of animals as according to them their villages always face power outages at nights.

They said that if government ensures peace in their riverside areas they will certainly go for bull-farming which is much cheaper than mechanized system.

The oxen pair of Sher Muhammad Narejo won the trophy for the second consecutive year as it stood first.

The bulls were decorated with traditional Ajraks and embroidery material. A large number of people came from their villages to watch this competition, who belonged to all the adjoining areas of this hometown of Bhutto leaders.
