Black flags hoisted on primary schools

TALHAR: Black flags were hoisted in different primary schools of Talhar on Thursday against non-acceptance of the demands raised by Primary Teachers Association (PTA).

The teachers wore black armbands and demanded of the government to accept their demands forthwith. However, they continued academic activities.

PTA Talhar President Mir Zaffarullah Jamali told newsmen that all primary teachers of Sindh are starting protest movement to press provincial government for acceptance of their genuine demands.

He said that primary teachers of Talhar would also set up a protest camp outside local press club in this regard. He said that the government should fulfill all its promises it made with teachers, otherwise their movement would be continued.
