Sialkot: Punjab government has finalized a multi-phased mega plan to convert all the dirty waters’ pounds across Punjab into the play grounds with a sole aim to provide all the basic facilities especially the playgrounds to the youths for the promotions of games, sports and the health activities amongst the youths.
The approval of this project was on cards, as this project would be completed with active participation of the people, in this regard.
MPA Mansha Ullah Butt has disclosed this while addressing the participants of a special prize distribution ceremony held at Govt. Murray College Sialkot for the positions holders of the Punjab Youth Festival here the other day.
MPA Ch. Muhammad Ikram, Sialkot DCO Iftikhar Ali Sahu, Principal Govt. Murray College Sialkot Javaid Akhtar Billah and senior journalists were also present on this occasion.
Mansha Ullah Butt revealed that the Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has released a special development funds of Rs. 235 million for establishing the advanced science laboratories and up gradation of different government schools situated in Gujranwala Division’s all the six Sialkot , Narowal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahaud Din , Hafizabad and Gujranwala districts with a sole aim to provide the better educational facilities to the local students at local level.
He narrated that Rs. 53 million have been released to Sialkot district , Rs. 47.7 million to Gujranwala district, Rs. 19.5 million for Hafizabad district, Rs. 52.2 million to Gujrat district, Rs. 32 million to Narowal district and Rs. 39.6 million have been released to Mandi Bahaud Din district for this purpose, in this regard
