District: USAID, World Bank helps Pakistan to curb menace of persisting energy crisis: Asif


Sialkot: Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that the government was ensuring the smooth of gas to the domestic consumers ahead of this winter season and making hectic efforts to ensure the supply of gas to the domestic consumers. He said that the USAID and World Bank were also helping Pakistan government to curb the menace of persisting energy crisis.

He stated this while talking to party workers and local elected representatives at his residence in Sialkot Cantt. MNA Sahibzada Syed Iftikhar ul Hassan Shah, MPAs Ch. Muhammad Ikram, Arshad Javaid Warraich and President PML-N Sialkot District Idrees Ahmed Bajwa were also present on this occasion.

Federal Minister said that the PML-N government was promoting a revolutionary policy of Trade not Aid with the other countries, saying that this policy would be helpful in making Pakistan a self-reliant and stable economically depending upon the available national resources, besides, creating the maximum opportunities of economical and industrial stability , in this regard.

Federal Minister added that early establishment of durable peace and weeding out of terrorism and militancy was the top priority of the country and government was committed to uproot terrorism from the country. He said that PML-N was striving to strengthen the durable and real democracy and true democratic norms and values in Pakistan.

He revealed that the PML-N government was strengthening the institutions in the country and promoting the democracy and democratic norms and values, besides, putting the country on the highway to political and economical stability.
