KARACHI: A fire broke out on the top floors of an eight-story building housing offices in Karachi on Saturday. A large crowd of people gathered outside the building located near Generator Market on Shahrah-e-Liaquat. Three fire tenders and a snorkel from the fire brigade department were busy in dousing the flames emerging from the top floors of the building housing several offices.

The fire-fighters also launched operation with the help of the snorkel to rescue the people stranded in the building. Police and Rescue volunteers also took part in the rescue efforts. According to Edhi Foundation officials, three people were rushed to Civil Hospital for burn injuries.
