Four injured in Quetta explosion

Karachi: Four persons, including two females, were injured Sunday in a terrorist attack near the police station in Quetta. According to a report, an explosion took place on Sabzal Road in Quetta as terrorists threw two hand grenades near the police station at Sabzal Road.

Resultantly, at least four people were injured who have been immediately shifted to the Civil Hospital for medical treatment. The injured persons were identified as Qayyum, son of Muhammad Rahim, age 25 years; Zubair Ahmed, son of Sher Muhammad, age 28 years; Kainat daughter Zahid age 17 years; and Bibi Hawa, daughter of Muhammad Aslam, age 13 years. Quetta police said that the terrorists threw two hand grenades near the police station. One bomb exploded while the other was defused by the bomb disposal squad, Quetta police said.
