Karachi, May 08, 2023 (PPI-OT): Governor Sindh Kamran Tesori has announced that a special cell has been established in Governor House Sindh to solve the problems faced by overseas Pakistanis in their homeland while paying tribute to the great love of American Pakistanis for their homeland. An additional secretary of 19 grade will be appointed to supervise it.
He expressed these views while addressing the reception of the Pakistani community in the city of Houston, known as the mini-Karachi of the American state of Texas. The reception was organized by prominent businessman Tanveer Ahmed, Community Rahana Saeed Sheikh, Dr. Asif Qadeer and Uzeer Hussain, which was attended by Consul General of Pakistan Aftab Chaudhary, leaders of various political parties and Pakistani businessmen, including Amaydeen Shahr in large numbers.
Governor Kamran Tesori had a busy day in Houston, he also met with the elders of the Pakistani community. In the meeting, they discussed the economic situation of Pakistan, the role of overseas Pakistanis in its restoration, the objectives of holding public Iftar at the Governor’s House in Ramadan and other issues.
Governor Sindh said that he is grateful to the Pakistani community of Houston for the reception, he said that overseas are the asset of the Pakistani nation, the economic conditions of the country require the attention of all of us, he added that Pakistan has given us respect, fame, Place has been given, this is the time to help the country, Kamran Khan Tesori said that the stakeholders have reservations about the ongoing census, the process of consultation with all the stakeholders is continuing for the development of the province, he said that I am ensuring measures on priority basis to solve public problems, he added that preparations are underway for IT training of 50 thousand youth, I will start this program on my return from here. Governor Sindh said that the purpose of public fasting and Iftar in Ramadan was to gain personal awareness of the problems of the residents.
On the first day of Eid, he also organized an Eid meeting party and dinner for the public. People brought their problems in Iftar. Ramadan Mubarak Around 3 lakh people attended the public Iftar at the Governor’s House. Kamran Khan Tesori said that the people want to see the rulers among them, so that they can tell them the problems, only when the problems come up, solutions can be found. Consul General Aftab Chaudhary, Houston-Karachi Sister City Association President Saeed Sheikh and Tanveer Ahmed also addressed the event. Earlier, Consul General Aftab Chaudhary and members of the Democratic Party welcomed the Governor of Sindh at the airport upon his arrival in Houston.
