LARKANA: Hindu Panchayat arranged a Haleem Niaz at Dharamshala located on Royal Road here on Wednesday to pay their homage to the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA).

A large number of people from all walks of life attended the Haleem Niaz which include PPP Sindh President Nisar Khuhro, deputy commissioner Tarique Manzoor Chandio, SSP Imran Qureshi, advocates, doctors, traders, journalists, political, social welfare and religious leaders and members of civil society.

Dr. Ambrat Lal and Kalpna Devi on the occasion said that Haleem Niaz was arranged to pay the respects to the unmatched sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) for the cause of humanity and it will be held annually. Meanwhile, PPP leaders Nisar Khuhro, Jameel Soomro and Khair Muhammad Shaikh also arranged Haleem Niaz separately.

Khuhro arranged Niaz at his ancestral village Akil, Soomro at his residence in Noor Colony and Shaikh at VIP Road at a Marriage Hall which were also attended by various personalities belonging to all walks of life including bureaucrats.
