India deploys more forces’ personnel in name of security for G20 event

Srinagar, May 03, 2023 (PPI-OT): India has deployed additional forces’ personnel in the name of bolstering security during a meeting of the G20 countries in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. A police official told the media in Srinagar that Marine and NSG National Security Guard commandos would be deployed to protect the guests and the venue of the event.

“At a security review meeting, it was decided to deploy Marine and NSG (National Security Guard) commandos to protect the guests and the venue of the event,” the police official added. The commando teams “will be deployed along with the Special Operation Group (SOG) personnel to counter drone attacks,” he said. The meeting of G20 countries, to be held in Srinagar, IIOJK, between May 22-24, which is disputed territory.
