Nobody can divide Sindh, says Qaim


Naudero, Sindh: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that nobody can harm Sindh and divide the province. Talking to media here Sunday before laying floral wreath at the grave of PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in connection with his 86th birth anniversary program, he said Sindh is a historical land. He said the Sindh Assembly made Pakistan. He said that the MQM should withdraw its stance regarding dividing Sindh province. He said all political parties have condemned the idea of dividing Sindh, and seeing the strong public reaction now MQM was also on retreat.

He said that his party believed in serving the poor masses. He said that Bhutto was the leader of whole Asia. He said Bhutto brought home 90,000 prisoners of war from India and also got vacated 5000 acres of Sindh’s Thar Desert area from Indian forces. He said from this area Thar coal can be obtained and electricity produced from it and surplus electricity exported.

He said Bhutto gave nuclear power plant to the country. He also gave the basic human rights to the people of Pakistan.

Qaim Ali Shah and other party leaders also participated in the programs related to the birthday anniversary.

Separately, Pakistan People’s Party-Shaheed Bhutto ( PPP-SB) observed Bhutto’s birthday anniversary in a simple manner by holding Quran Khuwani at their office here in which Ghulam Hyder Narejo, Waryam Channo, Razzak Mohil, Pir Bux Bhutto and other leaders participated. They also sliced a cake and offered Fateha on the grave of late Bhutto.
