Punjab government releases special grant for uplift of Pasrur


Sialkot: The Punjab government has released a special grant of Rs. 155 million for uplift of Pasrur under a comprehensive plan for the development and beautification of Pasrur.

Federal Minister for Science and Technology Zahid Hamid had disclosed this while talking to the local different delegations, which called on him at Pasrur here the other day.

Federal Minister revealed that a chunk of Rs. 90 million would be spent on the shifting of the local Fruits and Vegetables markets from Pasrur city to its outskirts , as the Pasrur Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) has selected a suitable land along the main Pasrur-Narowal Road for this purpose, saying that these Mandies would soon be shifted to the outskirts of Pasrur city.

Zahid Hamid said that Rs.65 million would be spent for affixing the tough tiles on various main inter-city roads in Pasrur city including the Kutchery to Tehsil Gate Road, Nadra Chowk to Shehzada Phatak, Chowk Mohallah Khokharaan to Tehsil Gate and Godowns Road, with a sole aim to provide the better means of communication to the local people. Earlier, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Zahid Hamid reviewed in details the Pasrur uplift master plan during an important meeting held at Pasrur.
