SAC demands return of robbed material, exposure of criminals in Naundero

NAUNDERO: Members of Shehri Action Committee (SAC) vowed to struggle for maintenance of permanent peace in a meeting held at the Municipal Committee here on Sunday.

The meeting expressed its dismay over non-arrest of accused involved in thefts, robberies and non-return of stolen goods to the victims by the police which is evident from the fact that private armed security guards have been appointed to provide security to the residents at night despite availability of a large number of cops.

The meeting was participated by a large number of social welfare organizations, shopkeepers’ bodies, political and non-political parties, labour and trade unions and citizens. After the meeting all the participants took out a rally and held a protest demonstration outside the municipality where they shouted slogans for peace and tranquility.

Ghulam Hyder Narejo, Abdul Qudoos Panhwar, Jawed Bhutto, Manzoor Mirani and others said that SHO and DSP Naundero have failed to maintain law and order in Bhutto’s hometown as they have done nothing against thieves who store millions of rupees worth goods from various houses and they have also failed to investigate as to who is involved in these robberies and forcible armed snatchings from the denizens.

They said stolen goods have never been returned to the owners who are still looking for their costly material. They said even thieves have never been exposed and brought to justice as to who is committing these crimes and on whose influence which have brought panic among the residents and shopkeepers. They demanded restoration of complete peace on a permanent basis which is the citizen’s constitutional, legal and basic right till then, they vowed, their struggle will continue.
