Faisalabad: ‘Facilitation is must for corporate growth’ said Mr. Mahboob Ahmed, Joint Registrar, Faisalabad CRO, while speaking to a seminar on ‘Corporatization with practical aspects of e-filing’.
The seminar was held in collaboration with the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan ICMAP Faisalabad.
Mr. Ahmad underlined numerous actions taken by the SECP to facilitate the corporate sector of Pakistan.
He made a detailed presentation on introduction of eservices project covering the relevant provisions of the company laws especially highlighting different aspects of incorporation of companies and post incorporation statutory compliance.
He briefed the participants that the SECP has prescribed lesser fees for e-filing compared to higher fees for physical submissions. Moreover it is ‘easy, cost effective, paperless, faster, secure and efficient medium of interaction with the corporate sector’ he argued.
Mr. Muhammad Asghar Baig, Deputy Registrar, explained the technical aspects of various steps of online filing of documents in eservices including availability of name, steps/procedures for online incorporation and e-filing of various statutory returns.
The participants included practicing cost and management accountants, lawyers and corporate practitioners.
Mr. Ashfaq Ahmad Naz, chairman, ICMAP Faisalabad branch, appreciated the efforts of the SECP and suggested that such seminars may be held on a regular basis for the benefits of the corporate sector and professionals.
