HYDERABAD: A One-day seminar entitled “PTCL Talent Drive” was organized by Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) in collaboration with Hyderabad Institute of Arts, Science Technology (HiAST) at HiAST.
Prof Syed Abdul Ghafar Shah Rashdi, Director Academics HiAST, gave a welcome note to the audience and the participants of the seminar. After the welcome not, Awais Ali Shah with Tariq Ahmed gave an illustrated interactive presentation on talent drive and career at PTCL. They said the seminar is openly related to business terminologies.
“Training is most important part of job which brings and develops skills, knowledge and abilities of students and employ them. Most of students are unaware about their career and they have no any knowledge about the companies recruiters and procedure to apply.”
They said: “Companies have to plan linkages with new talent via educational institutes which helps new talent to involve and gather knowledge pipeline to desire career.”
Addressing this seminar, Assistant Manger PTCL said talent drive includes the employers branding activities at educational institutes to provide company information, recruitments & internship policy, identify and interact with talent graduates and gauge the expectations of future hires at companies. PTCL talent drive aimed at developing a talent pipeline while promoting a positive image within the workforce and industries.

Prof Dr Tahir Rajput, Ms Huma Zai, Asadullah Shaikh, Sohrab Khaskheli and other also addressed the seminar.
