QUETTA:Six people, including women and children, were killed and four others hurt in a gas cylinder blast at a house in Quetta on Tuesday.

According to Provincial Disaster Management Authority, the gas cylinder exploded at a house in Sarki Kalan in Quetta in the wee hours of today. As a result, the house was completely destroyed and six persons, including two women and four children were killed while four other members sustained critical injuries.

The dead were identified as Ibad Ullah (3), Misbah (7), Hammad (8), Tanzeela (9), Gul Zareen (28) and Tahira Bibi (35). The injured were Ghazali (3), Imdad Ullah (12), Siddique Ullah (27) and Maulvi Abdul Aziz (45). The injured and dead belonged to the same family.
