Students of Murray College took active part in beatification of city

SIALKOT: In Sialkot city, the boys and girls students of the Govt. Murray College on Friday started painting the city walls by joining the hands of district administration in its ongoing move to beautify the city. The students are of the view that this unique experience has provided them an opportunity to play their pivotal role in the beautification of their own city as well.

Principal Murray College Sialkot Javaid Akhtar Billah said that the students of this college started the move by painting several walls around the centuries old historical Sialkot Fort by painting natural scenes there. DCO Iftikhar Ali Sahu visited the spot and he hailed the painting skills of the students.

On this occasion, District Officer Colleges Malik Shamas Ali told the newsmen that the students of other government colleges in Sialkot, having the painting skills, will also join city beautification campaign to paint the city walls from Monday.

Sialkot Tehsil Municipal Officer (TMA) Muhammad Zafar Qureshi told that the TMA was defining the various city walls for painting.
