Rawalpindi: The security officials killed a terrorist in an operation in the Awaran district of Balochistan, the military media wing said on Friday.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations, the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation. A heliborne force was used to clear the area of the terrorists, the ISPR said, adding that one of the terrorists was killed in the offensive and a huge cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered. The security forces have been standing firm against anti-state elements, it maintained.
