Karachi: Two people died in separate incidents in different areas of Karachi on Wednesday. According to rescue sources, Nuveen, aged 25 years, was killed due to a gas leak explosion at her house in Sector 11 of Orangi town in Karachi. The gas explosion caused panic in the area. Her body was brought to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities, where doctors confirmed his death. Later, the body was handed over to the heirs.

In another incident, Jan Sher, aged 22 years, was found dead in Azam Town of Mahmoudabad area of the metropolis. His body was found hanging with a rope. The cause behind the incident could not be ascertained till filing this news. His body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to the heirs. The police have started a probe into the incident. A mourning atmosphere prevailed in the locality.
