Vaccination of special students


Ratodero, Sindh: As many as 85 children & staff members of Chandka Special Education Centre for visually handicapped adults & children of Larkana were vaccinated for prevention of Hepatitis B at their school on Wednesday by the Sentinel site of Chandka Medical College Hospital, Larkana.

The school is being run by Government of Sindh and its Vice Principal, Amanullah Jakhro, had written a letter to the Focal Person for Hepatitis Programme being run at CMCH. According to the report sent to the Provincial Programme Manager, Hyderabad, out of these 85 vaccinated cases 60 were adults and 25 were children who were all visually handicapped. For this purpose a camp was established at the school and appropriate doze was given to these adults and children.
