Counting of votes in NA-193 Rajanpur by-election underway

Polling has been completed in a peaceful environment for by election in NA-193 Rajan Pur-1 at 5 PM on Sunday.

Our Multan representative reports that counting of votes is underway.

Returning officer will declare unofficial result on the completion of polling of all 237 polling stations.

Eleven candidates have participated in by election. Ammar Ahmad khan Leghari from PML-N , Mohsin Leghari from PTI and Akhtar Hassan Khan Gorchani from PPP are the major candidates in the by-election.

The seat has fallen vacant due to demise of PTI MNA Sardar Jaffar Khan Leghari.
