Federal Minister Qadir Baloch

KHARAN: Federal Government was mobilising available resources for end to sense of deprivation of Balochistan and huge funds have been released for development of remote and far flung areas and prosperity of people to ameliorate their lifestyle.

This was stated by Federal Minister Lt General (R ) Abdul Qadir Baloch while speaking to various delegations and journalists here Saturday.

He said several projects would be launched in his constituency. Owing to personal interest of Prime Minister projects of collective nature and people’s welfare oriented were being implemented in Kharan, Washuk and Panjgur as elsewhere in Balochistan so that people could get maximum relief from government. He said an important and long standing problem is non availability of water. He said Banap project to would be completed in next 15 days and Kharan City would get 0.6 million gallons of water daily. Kharan would also be linked with main transmission line of Noshki. Similarly Dhadar- Khuzdar and Loralai transmission lines project would be completed by June this year. It would help resolve electricity problem in the province to some extent. Naag-Panjgur road would also be competed at a cost of Rupees 8 billion by December this year while work on Dalbandin-Kharan road part of motorway would be started soon. Two grid stations would also be established in Kharan which would create new opportunities for employment besides improvement of agriculture sector. He said there is dire need for paying attention on health and education sectors. Special attention would be paid on conditions of hospitals and schools to provide them facilities. He said X-ray machine would be provided at the Kharan Hospital soon.

He aid present federal and provincial governments want to see people prospering and every possible effort would be made to raise standard of living people as early as possible.

Addressing a big gathering after a rally organized by people of Kharan in support of DPO Kharan, Police and Levies he said government in office was taking sufficient measures to ensure security to life and property of people and providing them basic facilities of life.DPO Anwar Badini and leaders of various political parties said that Kharan Police and Levies forces were establishing peace in Kharan. They lauded Police and Levies for their efforts to establish peace and order.

Moreover speaking to Newsmen Abdul Qadir Baloch said role of journalists in Kharan has always been constructive and impartial. They have given coverage to every political and social and regional parties which is good. He also assured them of resolving problems of Kharan Press Club.
