Islamabad: Federal Minister for National Regulations and Services, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan visited the campus of Pak Turk Schools and Colleges on Wednesday.
She was invited by the management of Pak Turk Schools and Colleges to provide first hand information about the educational services and facilities provided by the said education system in Pakistan.
The Minister was briefed about the history, vision, operational mechanism, campuses and performance of Pak Turk education system.
Director Planning and Development, Mr. Turgut Pwan on the occasion gave a detailed presentation to the Minister. Afterwards the Minister visited all the facilities and infrastructure of Chak Shahzad campus, including hostel, academic block and administration section. She was also introduced to the academia attached with the Turkish school system.
During the visit the Minister remarked that Turkey is a time tested friend and it has extended all kinds of support to Pakistan. The significant support provided by Turkish people and Government in the fields of health, education and during natural disasters is remarkable. This all out support is a manifestation of the cordial relationship between the two brotherly countries, the Minister added.
Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan praised the standard of education and services provided by Pak Turk School system to Pakistani children and assured of all kinds of support to the organization.
“The work of this institution is really commendable and I am looking forward of many such campuses in all cities of Pakistan”, she stressed.
