Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif says the government is fully committed to invest time and energy to stabilize the economy and put it back on track.

Talking to a private news channel, he said Miftah Ismail is an efficient finance minister and he would lead the country towards economic stability.

Khawaja Asif criticized the previous PTI government for not fulfilling the agreement signed by it with International Monitory Fund.

He said the incumbent government is now upholding the commitments made by the previous government.

The Minister said the issues being faced by the masses due to dismal performance of the previous government will be resolved in the days to come.
