Hot and dry weather to prevail in Pakistan

KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department on Tuesday forecast very hot and humid weather in across the country including Islamabad and Punjab plains.

The weather authorities recorded 153 Air Quality Index (AQI) in Lahore. The current temperature recorded in Lahore was 34 degree Celsius as hot weather amid load shedding has put a serious challenge to Lahorities to spend their fast. Moreover, the met office says no rain is expected in the next 24 hours in metropolis Lahore.

The weather office predicted light rain with dust winds in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cities including Mansehra, Haripur and Abbottabad. According to the Met Office, very hot and dry weather will persist over most parts of the country, however, light rain-thunderstorms are likely at isolated places in Kashmir and adjoining areas.

Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country, however, rain-wind/thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir.

Monday’s recorded highest maximum temperature’s (°C): Shaheed Benazirabad, Dadu 46, Jacobabad, Mohenjo Daroa, Khairpur, Chhor, Rohri, Padidan and Larkana 45.
