Interior Ministry issues NOC to PBSA to host India cueists

Karachi: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has given a go ahead signal to Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association PBSA and has asked relevant authorities for issuance of visas to the Indian players for the upcoming Snooker Series to be held in Karachi.

“The PBSA highly appreciates the prompt and kind gesture of the Honourable Minister of Interior for providing the assistance which will go a long way in promoting sports and also bilateral relations between India and Pakistan,” a PBSA media release said.

The traditional rivals will be seen into action during four day event to be held in Karachi from March 7 – 10.

Furthermore, the Malik also announced the Pride of Performance for world champion Muhammad Asif for his outstanding achievement in Bulgaria.
