ISF President showers praise on SSA

Karachi: The President of International Softball Federation ISF Don E. Porter has praised Sindh Softball Association SSA for their activities in the Pakistani province of Sindh and Pakistan as whole for making progress in the game of softball.

In order to help in promoting the game of softball internationally, the international body keenly observes the progress of the game in different regions of the world.

“My congratulations on the events and activities of your association as we look forward to greater development of and progress of softball in Pakistan,” Porter said in a felicitation message for successfully conducting the 10th National Women’s Softball Championship in Karachi received on New Years’ eve from ISF headquarters, Plant City, USA on Tuesday.

According to a media release, he praised Softball Federation of Pakistan SFP and particularly Tournament Director and SSA Secretary Asif Azeem for successfully organizing the national event in Karachi.

Pakistan has been making fast progress in the game of softball and also making its presence felt in the international arena.

Pakistan will also be sending national team for inaugural South and West Asia Cup Men’s Softball Championship to be held in Indore, India from 7 to 10 March.

Besides Pakistan, teams from Iran, Iraq and hosts India will be seen in action during the tournament.
