Peshawar: Jamat e Islami on Wednesday rejected restoration of Commissionery system in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and vowed to restore an effective local body system if Jamat e Islami came in power.
“Restoration of commissioners at district level is undemocratic, unconstitutional and against the people’s interest,” said JI provincial Amir Professor Mohammad Ibrahim khan while meeting a delegation of Local Council Association which called on him at Markaze Islami.

JI, Professor said believes in devolution of powers to the gross roots level.
