MQM names Sardar Ahmed as Opposition Leader

KARACHI: Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has submitted an application with Sectary Sindh Assembly for appointing its legislator Sardar Ahmed as Opposition Leader in Provincial Assembly here on Friday. MQM has decided the name of Sardar Ahmed in its parliamentary party meeting and an application was submitted for appointing him as the Opposition Leader in Sindh Assembly.

After submitting the application, MQM Deputy Parliamentary Leader Faisal Sabzwari told media that MQM has 51 members in the house and is the biggest opposition party in the assembly. He said MQM considers municipal ordinance law as good.
