Karachi: Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has said that assemblies will complete constitutional tenure and then caretaker set up will be formed after which general elections will be held in 90 days.
He was talking to media persons here on Sunday after condolence with Ex National Assembly Speaker Elahi Bux Soomro on the death of his son.
He said that Pakistan Peoples’ Party believes in fair elections and fair elections are in the interest of Pakistan. He said PPP Government has appointed impartial Chief Election Commissioner with the consensus of opposition parties for fair elections and government will never accept any hurdle or any conspiracy for next general elections.
Meanwhile, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro went to the house of MQM leader Anees Ahmed Qaimkhani and condoled with him on the death of his father.
He also went to the house of Jamat Islami Leader Late professor Ghafoor Ahmed and offered condolence to his son.
