Pakistan-Canada Parliamentary Friendship Group calls for boosting trade, parliamentary ties b/w two countries

Pakistan-Canada Parliamentary Friendship Group has called for boosting trade and parliamentary ties between the two countries.

This came during a meeting of Pakistan-Canada Parliamentary Friendship Group in National Assembly held in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Convener of the Group, Member National Assembly Naz Baloch chaired the meeting.

The meeting was briefed about Pakistan-Canada trade and diplomatic relations.

The meeting emphasized that steps should be taken to facilitate Pakistani students who want to study in Canada on scholarship or are already pursuing their studies over there.

It appreciated Canadian government’s cooperation in preventing polio in Pakistan.

The meeting also proposed organizing seminars by Ministry of Commerce for enhancing trade relations between the chambers of commerce of the two countries.
