Karachi: Six-time champions Pakistan Cricket Club defeated Alamgir Gymkhana by 88 runs in the final of 7th NBPKCCA Premier Cricket League to secure their seventh title here Friday at NBP Sports Complex.
Pakistan CC batted first in the final and put on board 2668 in allotted 40 overs. Rameez Raja batted well for the side scoring 65 runs. Naeem Ahmed Khan and wicketkeeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmed also contributed valuable 48 and 45 runs respectively.
In response Alamgir Gymkhana scored 178 runs before losing all of their wickets in 38th over. Ahsan Ali top scored for the side with 46 runs. Rooman Raees captured three wickets for the victors in the match.
