PPP always fought for rights of suppressed class, Engr. Humayun

Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Finance, Engr. Muhammad Humayun Khan, who is also Provincial Chairman of PPP, has said that PPP was the representative of suppressed classes of the society and always fought for their rights.

He was talking to delegations hailing from Batkhela, Totakan and Agra of District Malakand here at Peoples Secretariat on Wednesday morning.

The Finance Minister said that in spite of certain difficulties confronting the government as a result of terrorism it had completed matchless developmental works in district Malakand, which exceeds Rs80 billion.

He said approximately Rs600million have been spent in UC Thana, Rs1151million in Batkhela and Rs271million in UC Agra.

He said PPP was a national party having representation at every nook and corner of the country. He vowed to solve the remaining problems of people on priority basis if voted to power again.

Later on, the Finance Minister offered Fateha for the departed soul of Muhammad Sharif, brother of Director Information, Shuaibuddin. He prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss with fortitude.
