PPP minister using govt machinery in by-polls drive: Ex-CM

SEHWAN SHARIF, Sindh: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) central leader and former Sindh chief minister, Liaquat Ali Jatoi, said on Thursday that PPP Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah was using government machinery in his constituency in a bid to support his party candidate for winning by-election.

This he said while addressing a meeting held in Bhan Saeedabad in connection with the PS-73 Sehwan Sharif by-election to be held on 18 February, 2013.

It may be noted that the PML-N had also fielded its candidate Habibullah Khan Rind to contest the by-polls.

He said that Syed Murad Ali Shah was using government machinery in his constituency but the voters of the region had fed up with the present rulers.

“The PPP-led government has pushed people to poverty and hunger, however, our party after coming to power will recover looted national wealth from the present rulers and spend the same for the welfare of people,” Jatoi promised.
