Okara, Punjab: President, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, Javed Hashmi has said most of the demands made by Tehreek Minhajul Quran chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri were very close to PTI vision however they have very different stance about the role of military and judiciary in the politics.
“It’s a fact that military has always played a part in politics in Pakistan, but when the country has an independent judiciary and the 1973 constitution has been restored, we shouldn’t look towards undemocratic forces that could damage the nation,” he said while talking to a party delegation led by Abdul Sattar Wahela, senior vice president PTI, Sahiwal division.
He said it was basic right of every citizens to do politics and if he has public support, he should get him elected in a democratic way and bring a revolution on the basis of mandate however use of force, threats and rigging for changing the system would create more problems, which the country would no more afford.
Javed Hashmi said the PPP and PMLN have played their innings and it would be not in the interest of country and nation if they continued to play. “The masses want change as the PPP has failed to deliver anything during its 5year rule.
