TWI expresses grief over death of Munshi Ghulam Hassan in IOK
Srinagar, July 04, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami (TWI) has expresses profound grief and sorrow over the death of eminent historian, scholar and civil society activist, Munshi Ghulam Hassan. Munshi Ghulam Hassan passed day at his residence in Nopora, Srinagar, yesterday, after short illness. He was 92. The deceased also remained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Bank and Commissioner of Sales Tax.
The Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Munshi Ghulam Hassan was a justice-loving person and author of several books. The spokesman prayed Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with patience.
