Two villagers killed, three injured in bloody clash over barking of dog

Ratodero, Sindh: Two persons were killed and three others sustained bullet injuries during a clash among two groups of people over barking of dog at village Lashari in the limits of Ratodero police station on Monday morning.

The deceased include 29-year Yasin son of Haji Khan Junejo and 44-year Altaf Hussain Junejo son of Abdul Rasool Junejo. The injured are 30-year Bashir Ahmed son of Abdul Rasool Junejo, 15-year Zubair son of Bashir Junejo and Irshad alias Irshoo Junejo. The bodies and injured were shifted to Chandka Medical College Hospital Larkana.

According to Ratodero police the bloody clash took place when the people of Junejo family wanted to go to mosque for offering Fajr prayers but had to return a dog belonging to one Mehar Ali started barking on them. Noor Ahmed Junejo, relative of deceased persons told that they asked Mehar Ali to keep the dog inside home so that they could go out. This led to quarrel which turned into bloody clash. Both parties are cousins, Noor Junejo told. Police were investigating however no FIR was registered.
