Karachi: Anti-Terrorism Court-1 on Thursday adjourned the case of killing of a citizen in firing of LEA personnel as the judge was not present. According to the prosecution, the victim, Haider, along with his cousin was riding a car which hit a motorcyclist in Shah Faisal Colony. The personnel tried to stop the car and opened firing on it. As a result Haider was wound and later died on 4th June, 2013. As the ATC Judge was not present the case was adjourned till 19th December.
The case was registered against the Rangers personnel under Sections 302 (premeditated murder) and 34 (common intention) of the Pakistan Penal Code at the Shah Faisal Colony police station.
