India wants to change Kashmir’s demography: Sopori

Srinagar, August 27, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the illegally detained senior Hurriyat leader, Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori has said that India is hell bent to change the demography of Kashmir by abrogating Article 35-A of the Indian Constitution, which grants special rights and privileges to the permanent residents of the territory.

Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India was planning to convert Muslim majority into minority in the territory but the people of Kashmir would never allow it to succeed and would foil all its nefarious designs. He said that the Kashmiri people particularly youth have rendered their precious lives for the sacred cause of freedom from India and their sacrifices would not be allowed to go waste.
