Islamabad: According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 45% of Pakistanis think they are very mindful about cleanliness; 4% are not mindful at all.
A nationally representative sample of adult men and women, from across the four provinces was asked, “To what extent are you mindful about cleanliness?” Responding to this, 45% said that they were very mindful, 42% people were somewhat mindful about cleanliness, 8% were somewhat not mindful and 4% were not mindful at all. 1% of the respondents did not respond.
The study was released by Gilani Foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 2693 men in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during May 26 – June 02, 2014. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
