79% Pakistanis think the coach of the Pakistan Cricket Team should be a Pakistani,Poll


Islamabad: According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 79% Pakistanis think the coach of the Pakistan Cricket Team should be a Pakistani.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women, from across the four provinces was asked “Some people think the coach for the Pakistan Cricket Team should be a Pakistani while others think it should be a foreigner.

What is your opinion?” Responding to this, 79% said the coach should be a Pakistani whereas 18% said the coach should be a foreigner. 3% did not respond.

The study was released by Gilani Foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International.

The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 2538 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during Apr 7, 2014 – Apr 14, 2014. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
