Afghan National Security advisor calls on PM


Islamabad: Mr. Rangin Rahimi Dadfar Spanta , Afghan National Security Advisor called on the Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at PM house. Matters relating to mutual and bilateral interest came under discussion.

The meeting was attended by Afghan delegation comprising of Mr. Janan Mosazai, Ambassador of Afghanistan to Pakistan, Mr. Atiqullah Hatifmal, Deputy Foreign Secretary Afghanistan, Major General Asadullah Akramyar, Ministry of Defence and Mr. Hakimullah Hakmatullah Foushanji, Director International Affairs. The Pakistani side comprised of Mr. Sartaj Aziz, Advisor to PM, Mr. Tariq Fatimi Special Assistant to PM and Secretary Foreign Affairs Mr. Aizaz Ch..

Later a delegation of Pakistan Bar Council headed by Vice Chairman M. Ramzan Ch. called on the Prime Minister. The meeting was attended by Minister for Information Parvaiz Rashid, Minister for Science & Technology Mr. Zahid Hamid, and Attorney General of Pakistan Mr. Salman Aslam Butt.

The Prime Minister said that, “Law bars of Pakistan are significant pillars of judicial process which play important role in provision of speedy and inexpensive justice to the weaker and vulnerable sections of society”.

Prime Minster during the meeting highlighted the importance of the operation Zarb-e- Azb and said that, “we entered in the process of negotiations to resolve the issue but the terrorist made our each effort futile. Now the whole nation stands united behind the Pak Army and we will Insha’Allah come out victorious in this decisive battle against the terrorists”.

The Prime Minister further stressed that “the revolution in Pakistan will come only through elections and the future of Land is associated with democracy only”

While discussing the developmental and economic issues with the delegation the Prime Minister said that “Insha’Allah we will successfully tackle the issue of load shedding in our tenure. Our government has embarked on unprecedented developmental projects which will reduce poverty and create millions of jobs opportunities in the country”.

The Prime Minister further added that, “It’s time that the whole nation stand united for the help of IDPs. So that we collectively come out of the menace of terrorism to make Pakistan stands in line of progressive nations”
