The science laboratory has been built in order to improve the quality of education at the RIEIT girls’ school in Village Sakhi, Hafizabad, where all students receive free education.
The vocational training centre on the other hand has been built in main Hafizabad City to provide skill development opportunities for the women of the area, which would contribute to enhancing their employability.
At the inauguration ceremony, Ambassador Inomata remarked that the Government of Japan has given high priority to empowerment of women both in Japan and other counties under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and this project is one of the examples of such commitment.
He also expressed his hope that this project would not only to improve the girls’ education and skills of the local community but also contribute to strengthening the friendly relations between the peoples of Japan and Pakistan.
