Islamabad: The functioning of the Nandipur power project in a record time of only seven months was a great achievement of the PML-N, as this project has become a reality to be seen by everyone, as it was also an ample proof that the government was taking all out sincere efforts to curb the menace of the inherited energy crisis.
PML-N MNA Dr. Shakeela Luqman stated this while addressing the female party workers at Daska. She said that as many as 100 megawatts electricity has been added to national grid from Nandipur power project , which would be helpful in giving relief to the energy crisis-beaten industry and the people , especially the domestic consumers of electricity as well.
Dr. Shakeela Luqman revealed that the country would soon get rid of the prolonged energy crisis soon after the completion of the other under construction power-generation projects in the country, as the PML-N government was working effectively to end the energy crisis on top priority.
She accused the past regimes, which allegedly did nothing for the welfare and socio-economic development of the masses, as the past governments kept only focusing on doing politics of their personal gains , besides, creating difficulties for people at every step, while, the PML-N government lead by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif was doing practical efforts to minimize the worries of the people besides trying to give them relief in every sphere of life, in this regard.
