ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for CA&DD, Barrister Usman Ibrahim on Monday paid a surprised visit of educational institutions of Islamabad and found all security arrangements satisfactory.
The minister also visited the boundary walls of the educational institutions that were under construction and advised the administration for their sooner completion.
He examined the CCTV Cameras and control room of security in colleges and schools. During this surprise visit, he found security personnel alert with weapons and metal detectors.
Minister’s vehicle was allowed to enter after complete checking and the minister admired this step and directed the administration to check every staff and guardians before check-in to school or college.
He directed to call security meeting on daily basis at 09:00 am at minister office so that every matter of security may be discussed on daily basis. He also visited class rooms and talked to students and found them confident.
He directed the principals to conduct security meeting of staff on daily basis and remain more vigilant with surroundings. Director General Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) and a Joint Secretary accompanied the minister during this surprise visit.
