Islamabad: A six member delegation of the Czech Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Security, led by its Chairman Frantisek Bublan, called on the Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Mr. Sartaj Aziz on Monday..
The Adviser and the Chairman discussed Pakistan Czech bilateral relations; and the need to further improve trade and investments. They agreed that parliamentary exchanges were essential to further deepen bilateral political relationship.
The Adviser informed the Czech delegation about Pakistan’s priority of economic revival and development which in turn required peaceful neighbourhood. Pakistan has been taking steps to improve relations with all its neighbours.
The Czech delegation informed the Adviser that following the visit of a 13-member business delegation organized by FPCCI, plans are afoot for a return visit of a Czech business delegation. The talks were held in a friendly and cordial atmosphere.
