ISLAMABAD: Expressing concerns over growing incidents of hate crimes against Muslims after the Paris attacks, Foreign Office Spokesperson Qazi Khalilullah has said that terrorism has nothing to do with Islam.
At a media briefing here on Thursday, Foreign Office Spokesperson Qazi Khalilullah said Islam is a religion of peace and preach brotherhood.
Turning to downing military jet of Russia by Turkey, the spokesperson said tension between Ankara and Moscow should be eased through peaceful negotiations.
Answering a question, Qazi Khalilullah said Pakistan encourages contacts between Pakistan and Afghanistan at all levels. To a question on Junagarh issue, he said Pakistan is ready to discuss all outstanding issues, including Kashmir without attaching any pre-conditions. He said these issues should be resolved according to UN resolutions.
