Islamabad: Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party former President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed profound grief and sorrow over deaths of 58 people in an accident between a passenger coach and a truck near Khairpur.
In a statement Asif Ali Zardari said he was shocked and grieved over tragedy in which a passenger bus collided with a truck.
According to media reports this unfortunate bus was travelling to Karachi from Swat. Reportedly 58 people died in this tragedy and 15 were injured mostly seriously.
He prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls and early recovery of injured. He also prayed for grant of strength and fortitude to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss with equanimity.
