ISLAMABAD: Parliamentary Secretary Petroleum in the National Assembly Shahzadi Umerzadi Tiwana on Sunday urged the provincial governments to pass on the relief given by the federal government by reducing oil prices to the public.
In an interview, she said petroleum prices have reasonably been slashed for the first time in the history. She said CNG sector will not be closed completely and be available for consumers as an alternate fuel.
She said the government has allowed CNG sector to import Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) for its usage as CNG. She said duration of electricity load-shedding will also be reduced in coming days. She said power shortage will be overcome by 2018.
