ISLAMABAD: Federal minister Ahsan Iqbal on Thursday claimed that the inquiry commission has rejected Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) allegations pertaining to alleged rigging in 2013 general elections.
Ahsan Iqbal tweeted and posted it on his facebook page that the commission has issued report regarding the inquiry of alleged rigging in General Elections 2013. He stated that the commission has refuted PTI’s allegations levelled against the ruling party.
He said that country’s economy was hijacked in name of sit-ins and unnecessary protests. He demanded PTI chairman Imran Khan to keep up the spirit of democracy and confess to having mislead the nation and youth.
“Alhamdulillah, reportedly, Judicial Commission has cleared elections 2013 and rejected PTI allegations”, he said. He urged the need to step forward with new aspirations and resolve after commission’s report has put the matter to rest once for all. The Prime Minister will decide to make the report public.
