Minister: (Minister for Mines and Minerals inaugurates Pakistan Green Build Expo 2015)


ISLAMABAD: Ch. Sher Ali Khan, Minister for Mines and Minerals (Punjab), on Friday inaugurated Pakistan Green Build Expo – International Green Build Expo & Conference, organized by Pakistan Green Building Council and FAKT Exhibitions (Pvt.) Ltd. being held at Expo Centre Lahore from 27th to 29th November 2015.

While addressing the media he said, “I appreciate the efforts of Pakistan Green Building Council and FAKT Exhibitions (Pvt.) Ltd., to arrange Pakistan Green Build Expo which helps to promote the image of Pakistan as an investment friendly destination in the national and International market and this event is a high forum for interaction and strong business alliance between Pakistan and rest of the world through an interactive showcase of cutting edge tools and equipment, latest green technologies and synergy of allied services”.

According to a press statement issued here, he was joined by the Guest of Honour Sheikh Mohammad Arshad, President Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Mr. M. Saleem Khan Tanoli, C.E.O of FAKT Exhibitions (Pvt.) Ltd. and Mr. Aqrab Ali Rana, C.E.O of Pakistan Green Building Council.

The Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour met and acknowledged participants in the exhibition and took keen interest in what the exhibitors had to offer.

Pakistan Green Build Expo is Pakistan’s first Exhibition of its kind which will provide a platform to all the related business leads and relationship to advance business, upgrade systems administration and incorporating leaders to manufacture productive connections over the long haul. The event will showcase the most recent green concepts, practices and technologies being used in the industry.

The event also encompasses two day conference on 27th and 28th November 2015 which will cover vital topics on the growth and development of the building and construction Industry in Pakistan. It will be an ideal platform for the industry to discuss key challenges and opportunities.

The conference will feature exchange of latest technical information, dissemination of the high-quality research results and presentation of the new developments in the area of building and construction and power shaping industry’s future direction and priorities for better environment and sustainable development.

Pakistan Green Build Expo had participation of more than 50 companies which booked more than 100 stalls. The event was attended by quality visitors and effectively affirmed real interest from around 10 international countries like China, India, Italy, Sri Lanka and many more.

Pakistan Green Build Expo attracted a great number of local and international trade visitors on its first day and is expected to attract greater number of trade visitors on the second and third day of the event.
